Due to the emergence of two cyclones simultaneously in the Arabian Sea, the atmosphere has changed in many places in South India.According to the Meteorological Department, a severe thunderstorm is likely to turn into a very severe cyclonic storm in the East-Central Arabian Sea over the next 24 hours. Due to the impact of the severe thunderstorms, the Lakshadweep received heavy rains in several places.

Heavy rains rained down on Kalpani island in Lakshadweep. The Meteorological Department, on the other hand, has issued a warning of heavy rains in Lakshadweep, Kerala, Karnataka and several parts of Tamil Nadu over the next 24 hours. Also advised fishermen not to enter Lakshadweep and the South-East Arabian Sea. The Home Ministry held an important meeting with the NDRF in connection with the major hurricanes. In which the preparations to avoid major hurricanes were discussed.

After some time, a great storm has been created in the Arabian Sea. According to the meteorological department, the coast of Gujarat will collide on November 6 and 7. Districts in Veraval, Gir Somnath, Porbandar, Jamnagar and South Gujarat may be affected by the storm. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum rainfall is expected to continue till November 4 in scattered areas of the state.

Coastal districts of West Bengal such as North and South 24 Parganas, East and West Medinipur, Howrah, Hooghly and Nadiya can expect heavy rainfall on Saturday and Sunday due to Cyclone Bulbul, the IMD has predicted.

More information about Cyclone Bulbul, its intensity and whether it will make landfall in India are expected over the next couple of days as the IMD releases more-detailed cyclone bulletins.

The effects of Cyclone Bulbul will result in light to moderate rainfall over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the next 24 hours, the IMD has predicted. Light to moderate rainfall will also take place over north coastal Odisha, including the districts of Puri, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Cuttack and Jajpur on Friday and Saturday.

Rain In Gujarat : Latest news and update on Rain In Gujarat Maha to Cause Heavy to Very Heavy Rains Over Gujarat

Severe cyclonic storm Maha is likely to make landfall along Gujarat coast between Dwarka and Diu on the night of November 6 and bring heavy to very heavy rains till the next day, the India Meteorological Department said on Sunday.

The storm will cause heavy to very heavy rains in Saurashtra and south Gujarat on November 6-7.

 It is moving towards Oman but will recurve towards Gujarat coast on Monday," Sarkar informed.

Officials said ports across Saurashtra have been asked to hoist danger signal number two to warn vessels and fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea

Several places of Gujarat and Maharashtra are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall this week as Cyclone Maha has intensified into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm today.

Severe cyclonic storm Maha over East Central Arabian Sea moved westwards and intensified into a very severe cyclonic storm said India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Cyclone Maha, pronounced as M’maha, has moved west-northwestwards in last 24 hours and currently centred 600 km westsouthwest of Veraval in Gujarat, said IMD.
