The Union Home Ministry on Friday night issued a notification approving the opening of all retail outlets except multi-brand malls and single brand malls.
The Union Home Ministry on Friday night issued an order allowing the opening of shops in market complexes and residential complexes registered under the Shops and Establishments Act in all the states and union territories. However, the order makes it clear that multi-brand and single-brand malls cannot be started. All shops in any mall will still be closed.

केंद्र सरकार ने देशव्यापी लॉकडाउन लागू कर रखा है जो 3 मई तक चलने वाला है. इस बीच गृह मंत्रालय ने एक बड़ा अहम आदेश जारी किया है. जानकारी के मुताबिक देश में आज से तमाम दुकानों को शर्तों के साथ खोलने की इजाजत दे दी गई है. दुकानों में सिर्फ पचास फीसदी स्टाफ ही काम कर सकेगा.
हालांकि अभी शॉपिग कॉम्प्लेक्स और मॉल इत्यादि को खोले जाने की इजाजत नहीं दी गई है. उम्मीद की जा रही है कि देश में कल से व्यावसायिक गतिविधियां कुछ रफ्तार पकड़ सकेंगी. गौरतलब है कि लॉकडाउन की वजह से सभी तरह के प्रतिष्ठान बंद कर दिए गए थे सिर्फ जरूरी सामान जैसे सब्जी, फल, दवाई और किराना की दुकानों को ही खोलने की इजाजत दी गई थी.
गृह मंत्रालय ने लगाई हैं कुछ शर्तें
गृह मंत्रालय की तरफ से जारी हुए आदेश के मुताबिक केंद्र सरकार ने आवासीय कॉलोनियों के समीप बनी दुकानों और स्टैंड-अलोन दुकानों को खोलने की इजाजत दे दी है जो नगरपालिका निगमों और नगर पालिकाओं की सीमा के भीतर आती हों. लेकिन इस इजाजत के साथ गृह मंत्रालय ने कुछ शर्तें भी लागू की हैं.शर्तों के मुताबिक सभी दुकानें संबंधित राज्य/केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के स्थापना अधिनियम के तहत पंजीकृत होनीं चाहिए. दुकानों में सिर्फ आधा स्टाफ ही काम कर सकेगा. स्टाफ द्वारा मास्क लगाना अनिवार्य होगा और सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग जैसे उपायों को भी निभाना होगा.

While Muni. Shops have also been allowed to open in the market complex outside the limits.
