While the poorer class has been the worst affected during the Corona epidemic, the Modi government has begun to put money directly into MNREGA's labor account. Under which the Union Rural Development Ministry has allocated 6,834 crore to the states for payment of remaining wages.
This information has been provided by Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar himself. According to ministry sources, the first installment of all the states for the year 2020-21 will be issued from April 15, 2020. MNREGA labor is not the same in all states, however.
Each state has different labor costs
In Jharkhand, Bihar, MNREGA workers get only Rs 171 a day. In Haryana, the highest daily wage of Rs 284 is available. Usually these workers get only 100 days a year.
