Bajaj Auto has once again increased the price of the popular bike pulsar 150 neon in the Indian market. Recently, the price of this bike has been increased by about Rs 2,000. So now the price of this 150cc bike is 90 thousand rupees. In other words, the total price of this bike is expected to cross Rs 1 lakh. The Bajaj Pulse 150 Neon was launched in November 2018 at a price of Rs 64,889.
Price increased by 25 thousand rupees in 19 months
This bike was the cheapest bike at the time of launch, which got a very good response from the customers. The highest price increase for this bike was in April 2020, which was around Rs 10,336. However, the reason behind it was its BS6 engine. Now after 19 months its price has been increased to Rs 25,000, which is 38% of the total price.
Engine Details
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon is powered by a 149.5cc air-cooled DTS-I engine that generates 14hp of power and 13.4Nm of torque. A 5 speed gearbox is provided with this engine. This bike includes single piece seat, switch for extra white backlight etc. In addition, it has a telescopic front suspension and a nitrox gas-charged rear shock absorber. For braking, its front includes a 240mm front disc brake and a 130mm rear unit. In addition, the company has also included a front wheel ABS unit in the 150 Neon.
