Modi government brings new education policy of India, big changes in school-college system.


The Ministry of Human Resource Development has been renamed the Ministry of Education. The decision was taken during a meeting of the Modi cabinet. During the meeting, the Modi government also approved a new education policy. Detailed information about this will be given by the government in the cabinet breeding to be held at 4 pm. It may be mentioned that the Ministry of Human Resource Development had proposed to change the present name of the Ministry to the Ministry of Education.



     
    



The new education policy will focus on children's living skills. The National Education Policy was formulated in 1986 and changed in 1992. Even after three decades, no major change has taken place. The Right to Education Act has been broadened in the new education policy. The Right to Education Act, 2009 will now be introduced for children between the ages of 3 and 18.




Now all subjects like arts, music, sculpture, sports, yoga, community service will also be included in the syllabus. This is not called an auxiliary course or an additional course. The new education policy emphasizes on developing children’s life skills and necessary abilities. The focus will now be on world class research in higher education. The National Education Policy has been prepared keeping in view the Indian people. The National Education Policy 2019 is tailored to the needs of the rapidly changing society, taking into account the diversity of the Indian people, their traditions, cultures and languages.
