More than 4000 tenants of Ahmedabad will become legal owners

AHMEDABAD: The state government has solved the four-and-a-half-decade-old lease problem of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. As per the decision of the state government, the tenants of more than 4,000 leased properties in all the zones of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will now become the legal owners. The Rupani government has decided to give legal long-term ownership of loose lands to the homeless on leased property.

This decision of the Rupani government has solved the problem of rent lease which has been unresolved for the last 45 years. With this decision of the state government, the tenants of more than 4000 leased shops, godowns, lands, properties of refugees will now become legal owners in Ahmedabad.

The question of lease has been unresolved for the last 45 years. Because of this many people were suffering because these places were occupied by someone or under the hands of anti-social elements. Who will now be relieved. The corporation will now formulate and implement a comprehensive policy on these leased lands.
