New Delhi. Payal Agarwal, who lives in Meerut, was preparing for a competitive exam for a government job after doing BTech. The bank had also given the exam to PO, Clark. However, he was not having much success. After completing BTech in 2016, he prepared for the competitive exam for the next two years. However, he did not have much success. She prepared for the exam but could not pass it.

Payal was searching for small and big business ideas on YouTube during her studies. She was mostly looking for ideas to start a business at low cost. From that came the idea of ​​making vermi-compost. It has been more than two years since he started this work today. He currently earns a profit of one to two lakh rupees a month.



Payal is currently 27 years old. She has been making compost at home since she was 22 years old. This compost was prepared from kitchen waste. She used to put all the vegetable peels and fruit peels out of the kitchen in a container. Garbage was collected for fifteen days and it was allowed to rot by adding water. Later it was mixed with manure and after a month the compost was ready. However, its use was limited to household utensils.



Land was needed but he did not have land. Because of this he saw land in the village of Datavali near Meerut. It did not matter if the land was fertile or barren. Payal rented an acre and a half of land at an annual rent of Rs 40,000.

The idea of ​​how much land to take came from watching a video with vermi compost on YouTube. Payal planned to start with 30 beds. There was no water system where he took the land. This caused boredom. It cost 20 thousand rupees. If there was no light facility, the old generator lying at home was also repaired and kept on the unit. Apart from this, he also bought tools including shovels.

It costs eight to eight and a half thousand rupees to make a bed complete. A bed 30 feet long and 4 feet high costs Rs. 300 polythene. 30 kg earthworm and 1500 kg dung are used. When Payal started the business with 26 beds, the total investment was Rs 2 lakh. Fertilizer has a shelf life of one year. Because of this there is no need to worry if the fertilizer is not sold immediately. Payal's first fertilizer was sold after 6 months.
