1. Qualification: Passed with Minimum 55% in Regular B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
from the year 2019 to 2021 in granted by statutory University.
2. Age: Candidate shall be up to 28 years for unreserved candidate 05 years relaxation shall
be given for reserved category

4. Stipend: Present Stipend is Rs. 9000/- per month which may be amended by GUVNL from
time to time during Apprentice engagement period. The Apprentice trainee is not eligible
for any TA-DA/Boarding or Lodging expenses incurred during the period of training. The
Company will not provide any financial assistance towards transportation.
5. Selection: Selection for engagement of Apprentices would be on the merit prepared
based on marks obtained by the candidate in the result of degree examination subject to
documents verification. In case of similar number in merit, a person with higher age
would be considered. No canvassing or influencing would be acceptable at any time and
may render for non-consideration.

I.
Candidates are required to submit ONLINE Application only.
II.
Candidates are advised to carefully read the full advertisement for details of
eligibility criteria and selection modalities before submission of application.
III.
The Apprenticeship is period of 1 (One) Year purely on contractual basis. UGVCL shall
no obligation to offer regular employment to Apprentices during and/or after the
completion of the apprenticeship period.
IV.
Candidate has to work in field offices any of under Mehsana Circle, Palanpur Circle,
Himatnagar Circle and Sabarmati Circle of UGVCL during Apprenticeship engagement
period.
V.
Candidate shall not be eligible for Graduate Apprentice under BOAT Scheme on
account of his/her:
(i) Undergone any Masters (post-graduation) course.
(ii)Undertaken any previous training as part of the apprenticeship program.
(iii) Have any work experience of one year or more after the attainment of
prescribed qualifications.
VI.
Candidates with qualification acquired through Distance Learning Mode or Part Time
Mode or Correspondence Mode shall not be considered.
VII.
Engagement of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit
as per the requirement of Apprentices Act, 1961.
VIII.
The candidates who have been given grades in their result (graduation) shall
have to submit a percentage as per certificate issued by their University/
Institute specifying percentage equivalent to the grades.
IX.
Eligible candidates will be called for Interview. No travelling fare will be paid to any
candidate for attending the interview.
X.
Candidates are requested to apply only, if they are fulfilling requisite criteria.
Since, we are not seeking all the documents at the time of On-line application
candidate has to fully ensure that he fulfills all the requisite criteria. All the
documents of selected Candidates shall be verified at appropriate stage and if
found not fulfilling any criteria, his/her candidature shall be cancelled
immediately.
XI.

XII.
The documents of selected Candidates shall be asked by UGVCL at the time of
documents verification process and the list of such documents are listed
below:
Documents to be produced as and when required by UGVCL
1. Online application form along with One (01) recent passport size photograph.
2. Photocopies of School leaving Certificate
3. Mark sheets of all Semesters with Degree/Provisional Certificate.
4. Certificate from the Institute/ University mentioning percentage marks obtained in case
grading system is in place.
5. Caste (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) Certificate/Disability Certificate (if applicable).
6. Identification Proof (Voter ID/ Pan Card/ Aadhar Card/Driving License etc).
7. Residential Address Proof (Electricity Bill/Telephone Bill/Ration Card/ Aadhar Card, etc).
XIII.
The Company reserves the right to short-list and select any candidate as per the
requirement of the Company and to reject candidature in the event of detecting the
candidate’s ineligibility at any stage.
XIV.
Mere submission of application does not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for
being considered for the further selection process.
XV.
After successful completion of Apprenticeship period, the candidates shall be relieved
from the respective offices.
XVI.
The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters
relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection,
cancellation of the selection process either in part or full, higher qualification etc. No
correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
XVII.
Canvassing in any form shall automatically disqualify the candidate.
