New Academic Session 2021-22: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has directed the schools under it to know the loss of students' studies considering COVID-19 and take steps to resolve it. The CBSE has also recommended starting the new academic session from April 1.

CBSE Controller of Examinations Samyam Bhardwaj, in a letter to the school principals, said, "Conduct standard 9 and 11 examinations and in the meantime ensure full compliance with the rules for protection of Kovid-19.

He said in the letter that the 9th and 11th exams would also help in getting information about the loss of students' learning. To overcome this, I can take steps in the new academic session by the schools. A bridge course specially designed to compensate for this loss can be resorted to.
In March last year, schools were closed for several months due to a nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of the corona virus. Students studied through online classes. The letter mentioned that it would be appropriate that the academic session should start from April 1, 2021-22 following the instruction of the state government.
Board examinations will be held from May 4
CBSE Board's standard 10 and 12 examinations will start from May 4. The exam will run until June 10. Practical exams will start from March 1. The results of the exams will be announced by July 15.
