Big relief: Government of India allotted Rs 8923.8 crore to all gram panchayats in 25 states of the country, find out how much money Gujarat go
The central government has allocated Rs 8,923.8 crore to panchayats in 25 states to fight the Corona virus epidemic. The relief was given to rural local corporations on Saturday by the finance ministry. An amount of Rs 8923.8 crore has been allotted to 25 states. This amount will be for Panchayati Raj Institutions at three levels, village, taluka and district level. The finance ministry tweeted on Sunday.
The amount announced on Saturday is the first installment of United Grants for the year 2021-22, the ministry said in a notification. This amount can be used to prevent and treat corona at the rural local level. Resources will thus be augmented to three levels of the panchayat to prevent this transition. The ministry has released a list of grants given to different states.
Uttar Pradesh topped the list with Rs 1441.6 crore. Apart from this, West Bengal got Rs 652.2 crore, Bihar Rs 741.8 crore, Gujarat Rs 472.4 crore, Haryana Rs 187 crore, Jharkhand Rs 249.8 crore, Karnataka Rs 475.4 crore, Madhya Pradesh Rs 588.8 crore, Maharashtra Rs 861.4 crore, Rajasthan Rs 570.8 crore and Tamil Nadu Rs 533.2 crore.
