 Latest News of 7th Pay Commission: The Center has issued clarification regarding salary determination to the employee

7th Pay Commission: While Central Government employees are busy calculating the restoration of Dairy Allowance (DA) after their pay hike from 1st July 2021, the Central Government has given one more piece of good news for Central Government Servants (CGS). The central government has extended the deadline for fixing salaries within three months from April 15, 2021. However, the Center issued the clarification after receiving a series of requests from various employees of the Central Government.

The decision to allow the extension for salary determination will have a direct impact on the pay metrics of the 7th Pay Commission of Central Government employees. The pay fixation exercise will enable central government employees to choose between the pay date or the increment date to improve their pay which will further help in their 7th CPC pay metric.
