Celebration of the next Independence Day, 15th August 2021 

                  Every year national holidays are celebrated with great pomp and fervor all over the country.  This year too, Independence Day, 15th August 2021 will be celebrated with the same grandeur and enthusiasm.  Currently, the epidemic of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) is widespread.  Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India  It remains to follow the given guidelines regarding Covid-19.  And with that in mind, Independence Day 201 has to be celebrated.  Independence Day 201 should not be celebrated in large numbers and maximum use of technology should be made at state level, district level, taluka level and in gram panchayats.  For this, the Government of India has also given necessary instructions from the read letter.  The above mentioned limitations and preventive measures will have to be taken into consideration in connection with the celebration of the next Independence Day, 15th August 2021.

 3. Independence Day 2071 should be celebrated at state level, district level, taluka level and in gram panchayats as mentioned below.

 State level

            Hon'ble Chief Minister will hoist the National Flag at Junagadh (at 06:00 hrs);  The national anthem will be played.  Guard of Honor will be given by the police including Para Military Force, Home Guard, NCC, Scouts etc.;  Hon'ble Chief Minister will inaugurate;  The national anthem will be sung.

 (3) To invite about 200 dignitaries / leading citizens of Junagadh city and Junagadh district in the athome program to be organized at Junagadh district on the eve of Independence Day.

 (4) As part of the celebration of Independence Day 2021, a state level cultural program will have to be organized on 16/06/201 at Junagadh.The number of invitees to this program should be limited to 1000 (one thousand).  The live broadcast of the state level cultural program should be done in the cultural program organized by the taluka level,

 District level

 

(1) Along with the above mentioned matters, the national flag will be hoisted at the district headquarters by the Hon'ble Minister / District Collector at the district level (after 06:00 hours);  The national anthem will be played: paraded by Police Force, Home Guard, NCC Scouts etc .;  Speech will be given by Hon'ble Minister / District Collector.  The national anthem will be sung.

Health workers who have served to prevent COVID-19 epidemic such as doctors, health

 To invite workers, sanitation workers etc. as well as persons who have recovered / beaten from a serious situation against Corona.  In addition to this, to invite distinguished artists / athletes / dignitaries of the district who have made special contributions in any other field.  The number of invitees should be kept at 500.

 (3) A copy of the minute-to-minute program in this regard shall be attached to the program as planned.

 Taluka level

 

                  Sub Divisional Magistrate / Mamlatdar will hoist the National Flag at the Taluka Headquarters (Flag hoisting will be held (after 04:00 hours); National Anthem will be played; Speech will be given by dignitaries, National Flag will be hoisted  

 (2) To invite health workers who have served to prevent the epidemic of COVID-19, such as doctors, health workers, sanitation workers, etc.  Invite dignitaries who have made special contributions.  The number of invitees should be kept at 500.

 (3) A copy of the minute-to-minute program in this regard will be included in the program.

 As part of the Independence Day 2011 celebrations, a 30-minute cultural program will have to be organized at the taluka level on 19/09/2021 at 5:00 pm.  The theme of patriotism in this regard will be decided by the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities.  Arrangements will have to be made to broadcast this cultural program on LED screen and to have a live broadcast of the state level cultural program to be held at Junagadh after the completion of the program.

  In every program COVID-19 epidemic guidelines are fully complied with from time to time and social distance is maintained as well as sanitation and wearing of masks is mandatory.

Other programs of the day include tree planting, inter-school - inter-college digital discussion, online quiz - essay on patriotism - poetry writing competition, announcing important plans, selected boys and girls singing patriotic songs on social media, patriotic speeches.  Introducing, decorating government buildings, themed webinars, running online campaigns by patriotic themed NSS and NYKS and organizing other activities to suit the occasion approved by the state, other innovative ways to celebrate Independence Day such as digital and  Spreading messages / songs about patriotism and national unity through social media, lighting up important public buildings?  Activities such as sound shows, hoisting of national flags by people on their roofs and balconies, etc. can also be carried out.  According to this, people should be careful not to use plastic national flags.
