AWES Army Public School Recruitment Notification 2022 for TGT PGT PRT Vacancies:
Army Welfare Education Society has started the registration process for the ‘Online Screening Test’ to recruit Teachers in Army Public Schools all over India. The registration process has started on 07 January and will continue till 28 January 2022.
There are 136 Army Public Schools (APS) located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India. Approximately 8700 teachers are on the rolls of these schools. These schools are administered and managed by local Army authorities and affiliated to CBSE through the Army Welfare Education Society.
The Army Welfare Education Society will recruit Primary Teachers (Graduate), Trained Graduate (TGT) and Post Graduate (PGT) Teachers in these schools on the vacant posts accordingly. In compliance with this, the organization will hold an OST (Online Screening Test) on 19 and 20 February 2022 at various locations.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications for AWES APS TGT, PGT, PRT Recruitment
PGT Teachers – The candidates should be B. Ed qualified and possess Post Graduation Degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
TGT Teacher – The candidates should be B. Ed qualified and possess a Graduation Degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
PRT Teachers – B. Ed/Two Year Diploma Graduation and Graduation with minimum 50% marks.
Note: CTET/TET is not mandatory for appearing in the Online Screening Test. However, CTET/TET conducted by the Centre/state government is mandatory for appointment as TGTs/PRTs. Those not qualified in CTET/TET but found fit in all other respects may be considered for appointment on vacancies which may be Adhoc in nature till attainment of qualification.
Age Limit
To apply for AWES Army Public School Recruitment, a Fresh applicant’s age must be below 40 years while the upper age limit for Experienced Candidates is 57 years. Age will be calculated as of 01 April 2021.
