The Modi government is working to increase the income of farmers. The government has come up with several schemes to provide financial assistance to farmers. Farmers also need many types of machines to cultivate. To help farmers, the central government has started a scheme to subsidize the purchase of tractors. Farmers are in dire need of tractors for farming but there are many farmers in India who do not have tractors due to economic hardship. In such a difficult situation, they hire a tractor or use an ox. The government has come up with this scheme to help the farmers. Under PM Kisan Tractor Scheme, tractors will be made available to farmers at half price. The central government provides subsidy to farmers for purchasing tractors. Under it you can buy any company’s tractor at half price. The government will provide the remaining half of the money as a subsidy.

 from this, some state governments also provide 20 to 50 per cent subsidy on tractors to farmers at their respective levels. The subsidy from the government will be made available on purchase of a tractor. The scheme is for farmers who do not have much land or have small plots of land.

Agriculture is the main product in our country and when most of the people of our country are dependent on agriculture, the government has launched an important tractor scheme for the farmers and through this scheme the farmers can benefit a lot.

We know that in earlier times people used to cultivate by oxen but now in modern times people cultivate by tractors and machines. Since tractors are required for farming, the government has come up with an important scheme for farmers.

The government is doing this to increase the income of farmers and create a profitable business in agriculture. The Haryana government is offering a 25 per cent discount on the purchase of electric tractors for pollution-free farming. At present this exemption is to be given to 600 farmers.

A 50 per cent subsidy on a tractor means you will get a tractor at half price. However, there are some conditions for 

• The farmer has not bought any tractor in last 7 years.
• The farmer should have land in his name.
• Tractors will be subsidized only once.
• The farmer receiving the subsidy on the tractor should not be associated with any other subsidy.
• Only one member of the family can apply for a tractor subsidy.

If you want to get subsidy on tractor, first check whether you are eligible for subsidy or not. You can then apply for this plan online or offline. You can apply for this scheme at the Common Service Center (CSC) or offline. Some states are also offering online application facility in the scheme which includes Bihar, Goa, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. In order to avail the benefits of this scheme, the farmer should have Aadhaar card, land deeds, bank details, passport size photos in the form of required documents.
