Face authentication features are also coming in Aadhaar card now.  Aadhaar Face Authentication app also works without OTP.

Face authentication can now also be done in Aadhaar card

 First physical authentication with biometric and iris data

 It will be helpful in many government and other work authentication

 Aadhaar card is an important document for everyone living in India.  Aadhaar card contains details like your name, date of birth, address and Aadhaar number.  Your biometric and iris data is also available on Aadhaar card.

 Aadhaar FaceRD launched

 Aadhaar card holders can now confirm their identity through face authentication.  UIDAI has launched an app for this.  It is named Aadhaar FaceRD.  Aadhaar face authentication technology has been developed in-house by UIDAI.  Aadhaar FaceRD app captures a person's face for Aadhaar authentication using face authentication technology.

Many works will help

 Face authentication can be used for various applications related to Aadhaar like birth certificate, ration distribution, covin-vaccination application, farmer welfare schemes.  Face authentication feature works without OTP.  According to UIDAI, the identity of Aadhaar holders, including their Aadhaar number and any demographic or biometric data, can be stored in a central identity data repository using face authentication.

Physical identification will be done from anywhere

 After the launch of the Aadhaar FaceRD app, Aadhaar holders no longer need to visit the local Aadhaar Enrollment Center for physical identification using iris and fingerprint scans.  Because Aadhaar authentication can be done from anywhere and anytime with the help of this app.

Authenticate with the app like this

 Authenticating Aadhaar with Aadhaar Face RD app is very easy.  For this you have to install the app in your phone.  Background is required to be clear for Aadhaar authentication with this app.

 Step :-

 - Go to Google Play Store app and search for Aadhaar FaceRD.

 - Install the application.

 - Now open the application.

 - Follow the on-screen face authentication guide and click 'Proceed'.
