After lifting the Moon, the scientists are preparing for the climb to the Sun. The day after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3, ISRO launched its mission to the Sun 'Aditya'. The launch of L1' has been announced.

'Aditya-L1' to fly to Surya on September 2

ISRO Chairman S. Somnath said that 'Aditya-L1' satellite for Sun Mission (ISRO Surya Mission 2023) will be launched on September 2.

The mission will travel a distance of 15 lakh km in about 120 days or 4 months and reach the Sun's orbit. There, it will study the solar atmosphere and collect data and send it back to Earth.

From where will it be launched?

S. Somnath said that 'Aditya-L1' will be launched from Sriharikota in Andhra. India's first space-based observatory to study the Sun is being built there. The spacecraft on the Sun mission will be placed in the halo around L1, the first Lagrange point of the Sun-Earth system. The 'Aditya-L1' satellite (Aditya-L1 satellite) is named after Surya Dev. It will be carried by the Indian rocket Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV). The work of attaching the satellite to the rocket will begin soon.

Gaganyaan is also being worked on
