Pradhanmantri Suryoday Yojana: Yesterday has brought double happiness for the countrymen, where on one hand the grand temple of Shri Ram Lala was inaugurated in Ayodhya and on the other hand, PM Modi gave another unique gift to the public by announcing the Pradhan Mantri Suryoday Yojana. PM Modi has given information about this through a post on social media platform ‘X’.

After returning from the Pran-Pratishtha program, PM Modi announced the Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana. With this, people are going to get rid of electricity bills soon. The objective of this scheme is to reduce the electricity bills of poor and middle class people. Let us know about this scheme.

What is Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana?

Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana is a centrally sponsored scheme, under which rooftop solar panels will be installed on more than 1 crore houses, with the help of which people will get a clean source of energy. Also its objective is to bring self-reliance in the energy sector.

This scheme is a new effort to help reach the target of 40 GW rooftop solar capacity.

Its aim is to install rooftop solar power systems for residential consumers.

This scheme will not only help in reducing the electricity bills of the poor and middle class, but will also achieve the goal of India becoming self-reliant in the energy sector.

Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana launched by the Prime Minister aims to include poor and middle class individuals under the rooftop solar program.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme:

Applicants must be permanent residents of India.

The annual income of the applicants should not exceed Rs 1 or 1.5 lakh.

All required documents must be submitted or uploaded correctly.
