Samras Hostel Admission 2024-25
Samras Hostel Admission 2024 for the academic year 2024-25 to the students of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste, Socially and Educationally Backward Class and Economically Backward Class studying in college level graduate, post graduate and other higher courses.
About getting admission in Samaras Hostel
For fresh admission in any year or semester in all graduate level courses, admission will be based on merit based on percentage of class 12th and in post graduate level courses percentage of graduate level course (percentage based on which admission to university). (Note : Student should have secured 50% or more marks)
Renewal students who have got admission in previous year in Samaras hostel must apply online compulsorily. Renewal students of Group 2 and Group 3 who want to stay in the hostel for the second year should have secured 55% or more marks in the last two semesters percentage (SPI Semester Performance Index) as calculated by the University in the last annual examination. Where gradation is given instead of percentage, gradation should be equivalent to 55% or more. The percentage will be 50% for renewing students of Group 1.
Renewal students of Group 1 Medical and its equivalent courses may apply for admission but for first year admitted students (Fresh) applications will be invited by a separate advertisement from the commencement of the admission process of the Institute / College.
A student cannot claim admission on the basis of online application. As the Provisional Merit List for admission based on online application is published, the students who get a place in it will have to get the original certificates verified at the concerned Samaras Hostel within the period mentioned on the website. Admission will then be fixed by the concerned Samaras hostel.
If there is any discrepancy between the percentage filled in the online form and the original mark sheet percentage and the certificates / details regarding qualification, the admission of the student will be cancelled.
Only students studying in the district college in which the Samaras hostel is situated will be eligible.
After applying online, students have to take a printout of the application and verify it. If any error is found in the application, then the old application has to be canceled and a fresh application has to be made with the help of “Withdraw Application” in the portal. No amendment can be made in the application after the last date of advertisement.
